 Verified Amazing restaurant in Monte Verde
This restaurant was amazing! One of my favorite meals in Costa Rica. Everybody was trying to go next door to Sabo Tico, but it was closed. Thank goodness. I think this was a better choice. I had the gargonzola steak, which was cooked perfectly. It comes with a past that was spot on el dente.

If you find yourself in Monteverde looking for very good food at a very good price then look no further. This is home cooked food using fresh ingredients of the highest quality. You won’t find better food or a better price and the staff are super polite. Try the steaks - delicious. My favourite is the Camembert sauce with really tender sauce, but all the steaks are excellent as are the burgers. Everything is good.

Delicious supper and reasonable prices. Very friendly and attentive wait staff, who shared excellent recommendations. We would definitely eat here again! The tropical burger and the tuna steak were delicious! Beautiful view from the outside tables.

Probably the best meal we've had during first 7 days in Costa Rica. Special of the day was pork & chicken skewers with peppers and pineapple in a teriyaki sauce (GBP 14). House red wine a very pleasant Argentinian Malbec (GBP 5). Excellent value for money. Great reviews by KathrynK and ACathy3 in the last month led us here. Happy to recommend.

We had the lunch special - pasta in tomato sauce with various proteins (shrimp, muscles and mahi mahi) and chicken soup.  The food was seasoned so well - rich, hearty and so very satisfying.  Our celiac did not have any ill effects and she had the lunch special with pasta.  The owner knew what celiac was and was careful with food.  One of the best experiences and meals on our trip. Ook de bediening was perfect, echt een aanrader. Parkeren ook geen probleem toen wij er waren wat wel soms een dingetje us in Monteverde.

La comida estaba muy buena pero consideramos que los precios eran un poco elevados. Sobre todo el pescado, nos lo recomendaron como plato del día, fuera de la carta y el precio al no verlo resultó ser alto… Personal amable.
